As a Security Officer Chemical Patrol Unarmed in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned areas, remaining visible to help discourage unwanted activity, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will also be responsible for monitoring access points, checking badges, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. As this is a driving post, you will need a valid driver's license in the job state and may be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate: $14.75 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activities.
  • Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or prohibited activities within the chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Support Allied Universal's standards for professionalism and conduct while working in a chemical and petrochemical environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
  • A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required for driving positions only.
  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
