As a Security Officer - Logistics Site - Full Time in Plant City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility to maintain a visible presence. You will be expected to demonstrate exceptional communication skills and deliver outstanding customer service while addressing any security-related concerns. This is an armed post, so you will be responsible for carrying out your duties while armed, in accordance with all applicable regulations. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately during emergency situations.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit within the logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the site.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
• Document and report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
