Job Description:

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Patrol in Goleta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in the aeronautics and defense sector, you will play a crucial role in supporting security-related operations at a high-profile location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring communications, coordinating responses, and managing incident reports to help maintain a secure environment. You will be the central point of contact for incoming information, relaying critical updates to on-site personnel and responding to various situations with professionalism and composure. Pay Rate: $23.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor and control access to the location by managing entry and exit points.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of activities, incidents, and communications as required by site protocols.
• Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and daily activities.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, fire departments, and/or emergency services as necessary.
• Operate communication equipment to dispatch security-related personnel and relay information throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
