Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related questions and procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and client standards.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed during security-related events.
• Participate in emergency response activities as appropriate, based on site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience working in environments with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
