Job Description:

As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Site - Full Time in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a financial institution location. In this dynamic position, you will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond swiftly to any situations that may arise. Your armed presence will be a crucial element in supporting the overall security-related efforts at the site. You will interact with clients and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Work closely with location staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Handle and carry authorized firearms in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws while performing patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 3 or more years of combined experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related roles, or possess a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
