Job Description:

As a Security Professional - Patrol Driver in Roanoke, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play an important role in helping to maintain a secure environment by conducting routine patrols of the premises. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those within the facility. You will interact with employees and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our core values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability. This position is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for patrolling designated areas using a company vehicle. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the site.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or conditions observed during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
• Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points as part of routine patrols.
• Assist with incident documentation and communication as required by site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
