Job Description:

As a Security Officer - Distribution Center - Full Time in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling designated areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with team members and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of agility, reliability, and innovation that define Allied Universal. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
• Follow Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies when carrying out security-related tasks, including documentation and reporting of incidents.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting individuals as they move through screening checkpoints.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Maintain awareness of the logistics and distribution environment to identify and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and orderly flow of operations within the location.
• Participate in regular security-related briefings and training sessions as required by the site or Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
