As a Security Professional - Education Patrols in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for students, faculty, and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the campus, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to any situations as needed. Your presence and proactive approach will help to promote peace of mind within the community. This position requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with all individuals on site, and uphold the Allied Universal values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction. Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Interact professionally with students, staff, and visitors to provide assistance and information as requested.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of the surroundings.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required in the event of incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
