Job Description:

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also interact with individuals on site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while assisting with access control and monitoring entry points. Pay Rate: $14.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the food and beverage production location to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel as needed.
• Document incidents and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
