As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting government operations by monitoring and coordinating security-related activities at a dynamic transportation location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. You will be the central point of contact for reporting and responding to security-related events, ensuring prompt and professional communication at all times. This position requires driving as part of your daily duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed throughout the location.
• Receive and document calls for service, incidents, and emergencies, maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Coordinate with on-site security-related staff to relay information and instructions in a timely manner.
• Assist in the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and/or client management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from staff, visitors, and/or the public.
• Support regular and random patrols by maintaining communication with patrolling personnel and tracking their status.
• Assist in emergency response activities by notifying appropriate parties and coordinating response efforts as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
