Job Description:

As a Cleared Security Officer - Defense Facility in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within an aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. Pay Rate: $24.79 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity according to site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while on patrol.
• Document observations and incidents as required by site-specific procedures.
• Support Allied Universal in maintaining a secure environment within an aerospace and defense setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an active Department of Defense "Secret" Clearance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
