Job Description:

As a Security Officer - Auto Center Patrol - Full Time in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas within a dynamic automotive environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for employees, visitors, and guests. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, remain highly visible, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns or situations that may arise. In addition to your patrol duties, you will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, embodying Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, and teamwork. Pay Rate: $21.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and general premises to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Document security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Support the enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations related to the auto industry environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a valid Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
