As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Litchfield Park, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a strong presence to help prevent unauthorized access. You will interact with a diverse group of individuals, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while responding to inquiries and assisting with access procedures. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with access procedures and information requests.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and identify any unusual activity.
• Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and irregularities as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as directed and communicate with site management and Allied Universal as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
