As a Security Officer - Distribution Center Patrol - Part Time in Kernersville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment for our client's operations. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. You'll be counted on for your strong communication skills and your ability to respond thoughtfully to various situations as they arise. Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Maintain detailed records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering and/or exiting the location.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with established guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and management while representing Allied Universal at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
