Job Description:

As a Security Officer - Residential Site - Overnight Shift in Woodland Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. In this unarmed, driving post, you will utilize your valid driver's license to perform patrols and checks across the community. You will also provide outstanding customer service by assisting residents and visitors with their needs, and by communicating clearly and professionally at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as needed, and reporting any unauthorized entry attempts.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and staff to address concerns and provide information as needed.
• Document all incidents, observations, and security-related activities according to Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
