As a Security Officer - Resort Unarmed Patrol in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a prestigious hotel and resort location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere for guests, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service with clear communication. This role requires you to be comfortable navigating both indoor and outdoor areas, and you may need to drive as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to address guest concerns and support a welcoming environment.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, preference given to those with this experience.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
