Job Description:

As a Security Officer  - - Manufacturing Site Patrol - Full Time in Zeeland, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding to any unusual activity. You will also interact regularly with employees and guests, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to address their needs and concerns. In this fast-paced setting, you will utilize technology and your observational skills to support the overall security-related operations. Pay Rate: $18.04 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding the standards of Allied Universal.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols as directed by management or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
