Job Description:

As a Security Officer - Access Control - Residential Site in Bonita Springs, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment within a residential community. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols throughout the location, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with residents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of reliability, agility, and integrity. This position requires driving as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities within the residential community.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the community and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and staff to address questions and/or concerns related to security-related matters.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
