As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol - Financial Site in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a financial institution setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining a highly visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This armed position requires you to remain alert and proactive, always delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication to clients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activity.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during critical situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
