Job Description:

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Site - Afternoon Shift in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a premier automotive location. Your daily responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, assisting with inquiries and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the auto-related location and its perimeter to help to deter potential risks and identify unusual activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and other personnel while on duty.
• Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the location management.
• Maintain awareness of the environment and report any maintenance or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
