As a Security Professional Financial Patrol in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment within a financial institution setting. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and actively monitoring assigned areas. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to address any concerns that may arise. This position requires driving as part of your daily duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter suspicious behavior and maintain a secure environment.
• Document observations and report security-related incidents or hazards as required by site protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and/or clients as needed.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
