As a Security Officer specializing in access control within a retail distribution environment, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Assist with access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points at the distribution location.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors, employees, and vendors as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, following established guidelines and instructions from site management.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
