As a Security Officer - Electronic Manufacturing Site in Coopersville, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, conditions, or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Assist with controlling access to the premises by verifying identification and/or credentials when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with client personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns specific to the tech and telecommunications environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification and/or First Aid training is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
