As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a vital role in access control, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence to help foster a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. You may be required to perform routine patrols of the premises and respond promptly to any security-related situations that arise. This post requires a valid driver's license, as driving may be part of your responsibilities. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.
• Operate and monitor security-related systems such as surveillance cameras, alarms, and communication devices.
• Support the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter prohibited activities within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
