Job Description:

As a Security Officer - - Commercial Real Estate Patrol - Full Time in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any concerns. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to address their needs. Pay Rate: $19.65 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying depending on the site.
• Help to deter unwanted activity through visible presence and by observing and reporting any unusual conditions or incidents.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with property management, tenants, and visitors as needed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs on all patrols, incidents, and observations during the shift.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities and follow established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
