As a Security Officer - Armed Government Site - Overnight Shift in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location dedicated to serving the community. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Monitor the premises for unusual activity or security-related concerns, reporting any incidents according to company and client protocols.
• Interact with visitors, employees, and/or residents at the location, providing assistance and information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
• Follow all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training specific to armed patrol assignments in a government environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
