As a Security Patrol for Branch Operatins Full-Time in Gardena, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Buildings and more.

As an Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine inspections and monitoring throughout the assigned premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations as they arise. You will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to address concerns and foster a welcoming environment. This position requires driving as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for unusual circumstances.
• Report and document any incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with team members and site personnel to support a secure environment.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and verify identification when required.
• Remain alert to surroundings and communicate observations to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds; this is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
