Job Description:

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Site Patrol - Full Time in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer serving a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in promoting a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. You will interact with individuals on site, assist with access control, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. This position requires driving as part of your daily duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, and may include industrial and manufacturing settings.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and/or providing directions as needed.
• Support emergency response procedures, including evacuations and other site-specific protocols as directed by client or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license in the state of employment is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
