As an Allied Universal team member assigned to a residential location, you will play a key role in access control, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols throughout the property, and remaining visible to support a secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, assist residents and guests with inquiries, and communicate clearly with both the community and your team. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of authorized individuals within the residential location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential disturbances.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment within the residential community.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
