Job Description


As a Security Professional - Residential Patrol in Augusta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment for a residential community. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. You will be the face of Allied Universal, responding professionally to inquiries, assisting with access control, and communicating clearly with both residents and team members. This position is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the community by vehicle, helping to monitor for any unusual activity and ensuring all security-related protocols are followed. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or potential hazards.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, or security-related concerns within the residential location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols and incidents as required by site-specific procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and staff to address concerns and provide assistance when needed.
  • Support Allied Universal management and follow all company and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements is preferred for driving positions.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
