As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Observe and report any suspicious behaviors, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or customers while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5+ years of Armed security experience. 
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a Level III Armed Certification and Armed Guard Card for roles in Texas.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
