As a Security Officer - Unarmed Media Facility Patrol - Full Time in Bristol, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an Allied Universal Security Professional in a patrol, unarmed role within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key part in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all occupants. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of the premises, staying visible to provide reassurance, and assisting with access control and badge verification as needed. Exceptional customer service and communication are at the heart of this position, as you interact with a diverse group of employees, visitors, and vendors. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using company protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
  • Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols and report any unusual activity to site management.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment.
  • Remain alert to surroundings and changes in the environment, especially in a technology-focused workplace.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
