As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Patrol in the Theater District, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a financial institution setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing a reassuring presence for employees and visitors. This armed post requires you to carry out your duties with professionalism and integrity, consistently demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills. You will be expected to respond promptly to incidents and collaborate closely with your team to address any security-related concerns. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgement to address issues as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols, both inside the financial institution and around the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Adhere to all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements, including those specific to armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
