As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrols in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure environment at a premier hotel and resort location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will interact with guests, staff, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment within the hotel and resort property.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel, resort facilities, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Support hotel and resort staff with security-related needs, providing guidance and direction to guests as needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
