Job Description:

As a Security Guard Access Control Specialist in Foothill Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic automotive location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and controlling entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the premises to help deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents. You will also provide outstanding customer service to all visitors and employees, answering questions and assisting with their needs. This position offers the opportunity to interact with a diverse group of people while utilizing your attention to detail and communication skills. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related concerns specific to the automotive environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
