As a Security Professional - Access Control - Full Time in Milford, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a prominent food and beverage location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the premises to help deter security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors, while communicating clearly and professionally at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity at the location.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas to support access control measures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities according to company and client protocols.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
