As a Security Officer - Logistics Entry Patrol in West Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a bustling logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with site-specific procedures and information.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and observe for unusual activity or hazards.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with appropriate personnel and following established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
