As a Security Professional in an access control role within a logistics and distribution location, you will play an important part in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and controlling access points, conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points at the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with site-specific procedures related to access control.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies, including responding to alarms or unusual activity at access points.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate per Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report all access control activity, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as necessary during emergencies or access-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
