As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Full-Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team serving a financial institution location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. In this armed post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service, responding promptly to incidents, and communicating clearly with all individuals on site. You will also be expected to manage access control and support the overall security-related operations of the location. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
