As a Unarmed Security Officer - Government Site in Bushnell, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Screener with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for all staff and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting screening procedures, and assisting with access control to help to deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter prohibited items and unauthorized access, following established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, incidents, or policy violations according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors, providing assistance and information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
