As a Unarmed Security Officer - Distribution Site in Mcdonough, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Screener in a logistics and distribution environment, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location to help deter security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to inquiries and assisting with any security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain compliance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter of the logistics and distribution location to help to deter potential security-related risks.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
