As a Cleared Armed Security Officer - DOD Facility in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This position requires you to be armed and to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is required. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for an armed post.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to the unique requirements of an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, maintaining awareness of site-specific protocols for armed personnel.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed security-related duties at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
• Must have an active Department of Defense Clearance.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
