As a Security Professional - Tech Site - Weekdays in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Screener in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with employees, visitors, and guests, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to situations as they arise, always upholding the values of Allied Universal. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Screen individuals entering the premises to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all screening activities and report any unusual observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors while upholding site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
