As a Security Officer - Healthcare Entry Screener in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors, patients, and staff. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and assisting with access control to help deter unauthorized entry. You will interact with individuals entering the facility, providing clear communication and exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional presence. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access, following established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients as needed.
  • Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or unusual activities according to site procedures.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings to help to deter potential security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
