As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities, so you will be entrusted with upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity while on duty. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns according to established protocols.
• Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible presence.
• Assist with access control and verify identification as required by site policies.
• Support Allied Universal and client management in maintaining a secure environment through adherence to all post orders and instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
