As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Facility Patrol - Full Time in Batesville, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in access control at a dynamic food and beverage location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or vendors with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
