As a Security Professional - Dispatch Desk in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations by monitoring and coordinating activities from a central location. Your responsibilities will include managing communications, responding to incidents, and assisting with access control to help to deter unauthorized entry. You will utilize technology and strong communication skills to provide timely information and support to on-site teams, contributing to a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all employees and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and coordinate security-related communications and dispatch appropriate personnel to incidents within the tech and media location.
• Maintain detailed logs of all incoming calls, incidents, and dispatch activities in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and access procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Collaborate with on-site security-related teams to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Support emergency response activities by relaying information and coordinating with first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular checks of security-related systems and communication equipment to confirm operational readiness.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
