As a Cleared Security Officer - Armed Patrol Full-Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. In this armed patrol position, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on site. Your responsibilities will include monitoring for unusual activity, responding promptly to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism. This role requires you to be armed and may involve driving responsibilities, allowing you to demonstrate your expertise and commitment to upholding the highest standards. Pay Rate: $25.15 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and authorizations for entry to restricted areas.
  • Support emergency response efforts as directed, including coordination with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to personnel and visitors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
  • Must have an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
