As a Security Guard - Warehouse Site - Afternoon Shift in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with inquiries related to access procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site guidelines, adapting to the unique needs of a technology-focused environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with first responders when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
