As a Security Officer -Retail Site - Overnight Shift in SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a bustling retail distribution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access control systems, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to manage visitor logs and respond to alarm panels as needed. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in customer service and enjoy interacting with people in a dynamic environment. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous presence.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns at the front desk area.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
